Tomica (Tomi) Moore is an AI Transformation Strategist, Legal Operations Expert, and Contract Management Consultant based in the Austin, Texas area, with a career spanning more than two decades across law firms, legal technology companies, and enterprise organizations. Her work has always centered on one thing: closing the gap between legal complexity, emerging technology, and the people who have to make both work inside real organizations.
She began her legal career at Brown McCarroll in Longview, Texas, moved through the operational infrastructure of Littler Mendelson, worked inside legal AI at Brainspace, and has been documenting AI's trajectory in legally consequential environments since 2016, years before it became a boardroom priority. That practitioner foundation is what separates her approach from the typical consultant. She has not just advised on contract management and AI adoption. She has done the work, inside law firms, inside financial institutions, and inside enterprise technology companies, which means she understands the problems from the inside out.
Tomi is a CLOC member and CLOC Global Institute attendee, bringing direct visibility into how enterprise legal departments are operationalizing AI, modernizing their contract infrastructure, and building the governance frameworks that make technology adoption defensible at scale. Contract management is not a service she added to her practice. It is the through line of her entire career, from drafting discovery documents and managing 200-plus active litigation files at Caliber Home Loans, to negotiating NDAs, MSAs, and vendor agreements during a U.S. market entry at Megmeet, to building the intake workflows, template libraries, and CLM configurations that allow organizations to scale without adding headcount.
She is the creator of the AI Infrastructure Vision Test, a proprietary diagnostic tool for assessing organizational AI readiness before scaling, and the ARIA Risk Framework, a federally copyrighted pre-engagement risk and ROI qualification methodology. Outside of her professional work, Tomi is a mom, a memoir writer, and co-founder of Dallas Art Advisory. She enjoys reading, jogging, and mentoring the next generation of women in technology. Her wine of choice is Oregon Pinot Noir, Burgundy, or Provence rosé. She recently picked up golf clubs to join her son Winston on the course, because some pursuits are worth starting from scratch. Her soundtrack shifts between R&B, house music, jazz, and strings, with occasional stops at hi-fi lounges and a genuine love of vinyl. She has a standing dream of learning to play the violin one day, because if there is one thing twenty years has taught her, it is that there is always more to learn.
